GET REAL KID... I love the myth of Icarus. In our era it speaks to the way technology offers youth the illusion of escape. I’ve chosen Icarus as the jumping off point for my new poster series about Myths and Memes.

For this design I’ve reproduced an engraving called ‘Daedalus and Icarus’ by A.G.L. Desnoyers, based on the painting by C.P. Landon from 1799.

Screen printed by hand onto Fabriano Rosaspina White paper (220 GSM), this print comes in a limited edition of 100.
