Recently it occurred to me that Ned Kelly was a bit like Don Quixote. Then I read somewhere that Sidney Nolan might have been implying that connection. There’s so much I’d like to say about it but that can wait. For now, let me show you what I’ve made.

For this design I’ve combined Honoré Daumier’s 1868 painting of Don Quixote with Sidney Nolan’s head of Ned Kelly.
